Installation method
Concealed PPR pipe
PPR pipes embedded in walls, floors, etc. can prevent expansion. Both the pressure and the tensile stress are absorbed without damaging the various materials. If the pipeline has isolation materials (to meet the standards), these isolation materials can allow more expansion.
External pipe network
When the PPR pipeline is installed outside, the compensation of linear expansion shall be considered. The basic requirements are: first, natural compensation shall be used as much as possible; second, expansion ring compensation shall be used, and then fixed support and free hanger shall be used for compensation. When installing the anchor, pay attention to separate the PPR pipe into various parts, so that the expansion force is directed in the required direction.
Pipe installation in shaft
If an anchor is installed near the two branch pipes of the main pipe, the main riser can expand or contract vertically between the two floors. The distance between two anchor points in the shaft shall not exceed 3M. Other methods can also be used to compensate for expansion. For example, install “expansion branch pipe” from the branch pipe of the main pipe.
Generally, PPR pipes and pipe fittings are connected by hot melting or electric melting. When connecting, the PPR pipes and pipe fittings are heated to critical melting at the same time. Then, the pipes are immediately inserted into the PPR pipe fittings in a straight line. The welded pipes have good contact performance and high success rate.
Welding procedure
1. A self-adjusting hot-melt welding machine is used to weld the PPR pipe and the pipe fittings, and the temperature is 260 ℃. Connect the machine to the power supply (220 V), when the green light flashes, it indicates that the welding temperature has been reached, and start to work; if the ambient temperature is lower than 5 ℃, the heating time will be extended by 50%.
2. Due to the light weight and flexibility of the material, all welding must be carried out on the workbench. Based on this advantage, man hours are saved.
3. Sometimes, some connections should be made in the wall. It should be noted that there is enough operation space at the joint location, which can be operated accurately.
Use special scissors to cut PPR pipe, and the cut shall be smooth without burr.
Clean the welding parts of PPR pipes and pipe fittings to avoid sand, dust and other damage to the joint quality.
The heating head matched with the size of the PPR pipe to be welded is used to assemble the fuser, which is heated to 260 ℃.
Mark the welding depth on the PPR pipe with a marking pen.
At the same time, insert the PPR pipe and pipe fittings into the welding device, and heat them according to the specified time.
After heating, push the pipe and pipe vertically and maintain for more than 5 seconds. Do not use too much force to prevent bending.
However, attention should be paid to the welding, not to shake left and right, and the time should not be too long. The specification of pipes and fittings shall be unified. In addition, the welding equipment should have constant temperature control. If the temperature is too high, the welding can not be fully penetrated. It is easy to leak water. If the temperature is too low, the welding speed is slow and time-consuming.

Construction specification
1. Before the installation and construction of the pipeline, the construction drawings and other technical documents shall be complete, and the technical disclosure of drawings has been carried out to meet the construction requirements; meanwhile, the scheme, technology, materials, machines and tools can ensure the normal construction; finally, the construction personnel shall receive the professional technical training of the pipeline installation.
2. The pipes and pipe fittings provided shall meet the design requirements, and shall be attached with product instructions and quality certificates.
3. Materials with signs of damage shall not be used. If any abnormality is found in the pipeline quality, it shall be rechecked before use.
4. In the process of pipeline installation, the opening shall be blocked in time to avoid pipeline blockage and pollution.
5. During the construction and installation, the cold and hot water pipes shall be rechecked for their grades and use occasions; the pipe surface shall be marked outward in a conspicuous position.
